We had 9 Adventurers for our hike to Werribee Gorge on Sunday 1st May. This exciting hike was enjoyed by everyone who attended. A few steep hills early on put a big challenge for some hikers but perseverance and determination shone through as we walked this circuit in a clockwise direction.
The sheer cliffs of the gorge provided a beautiful back drop for some rock hopping and traversing a steel rope that was bolted to the cliff wall. This was certainly a fun part of the hike.
The weather, beauty and challenge of this hike makes it one of the best hikes in close proximity to Geelong.
Once the hike was completed we enjoyed a shared lunch and a celebratory drink.
