Hike and Spa Day - Daylesford

This full day Adventure has it all, a little exercise with a touch of pampering.                                        

First up, we will meet at 9:30 before setting off on a 9km Circuit hike that takes in both Lake Jubilee and Lake Daylesford.  With some inclines to get the heart pumping on this cold winters morning, this stunning hike goes through bush, along dirt tracks, roads and urban streets.  Hopefully, we will get to see some wildlife along the way.

Once our hike has been completed, you are free to walk the Main Street or visit the market  (if on) and get some lunch (at your own expense) before we head to Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa at 2pm for a 90min relaxation swim  in the mineral rich waters of the Bathhouse.  The minerals will  help you feel rejuvenated and relaxed as they work to ease muscle tension , relax joints and improve your overall well being.

Potential timeline of day:

Meet 9:30am    Carpark Duke St Daylesford

11:30 -12pm     Finish hike

12-1:30pm.       Free time to get lunch

1:45pm              Meet at Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa

                            Mineral Springs Reserve Road, Daylesford

Finish by 4pm then drive back to Geelong

What is included:

• Guides with First Aid Certification
• 90min session in the Bathhouse consisting of two indoor social mineral bathing areas.  

Lunch will be at your own expense.

What to bring:

- Waterproof hiking shoes (if you have).  Trail can get very wet and muddy 

-Hat/Beanie

-Rain coat/jacket (if required)

- Small backpack to carry everything in  

- Bathers, slip on shoes, towel (For Bathhouse)

Weather:

This hike should be able to proceed in most weather conditions.  If severe weather warning forecast this walk will need to be postponed, but Bathhouse part of day will proceed regardless of weather.

ADVENTURE RATING:

YellowTraffic light - I have rated this hike as yellow.  I have not walked it yet but from reviews there are some hills and varied terrain.     This hike should be easily achieved with a moderate degree of fitness.  It could take approx 2 hours to complete.  Remember only you can decide if this adventure is right for you.
