Join us for the ultimate challenge as we take on Rockwire at Mount Buller. This 3 hour Adventure will take us over the side of the mountain and reward us with the most spectacular views. Think a tree-top high ropes course, but 1000m up on a mountain rock face! Have you ever wondered what is over the ledge? Well this via ferrata ropes course will show you and it is not for the faint hearted!
If you are ready for an epic challenge well this is the Adventure for you!
I am still finalising details but the plan for the weekend is:
Friday 21st March- Arrive Mount Buller
Saturday 22nd March- I will find us a nice hike to do
Sunday 23rd March- 8am Rockwire
Then home
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
- Rockwire 3 hour Adventure
-Accomodation for 2 nights at Merrijig Lodge
Breakfast and Evening meal included
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED:
-Lunch and snacks
- Travel to Mount Buller
Car pooling may be available
ACCOMODATION:
Merrijig Lodge
Mount Buller
Group Accomodation with a mixture of bedding configurations but most likely bunks.
Breakfast and Evening meal included and will be prepared by the Lodge Housekeeper Di.
PAYMENT:
Payment for this Adventure will be in 2 stages:
Deposit: To confirm your place you will need to pay $229 for the Rockwire Adventure. Once booked I will need your date of birth and email to book your place.
## Please note once your place is booked with Rockwire there will be a fee incurred of up to $50 to change the name if you are no longer able to attend. This fee will not be paid by WINE Adventure Group but will be your responsibility if any change is required.
Total cost will be $500 ( however I am still finalising details and this may change)
To book your place you will need to pay deposit of $229
Balance will be due closer to date in 2025.
There will be no refunds on this Adventure. However, you may transfer to someone else just please understand there may be a cost incurred.
WHAT TO BRING:

WEATHER:
If the weather is poor we will be guided by the team at Rockwire and understand this event may not proceed if weather not conducive for activity.
We will also not be hiking if weather too hot or not supportive of hiking.
ADVENTURE RATING:
RED: While safety is paramount at Rockwire this is still a high risk activity. Please consider very carefully whether this Adventure is right for you or not.
We will also be hiking on Mount Buller in a remote location that is very hilly. A very good level of fitness will be required.
